Gregory J. Morano
Chief Executive Officer

Greg Morano's leadership as chief executive officer of Univers Workplace Solutions evolved from his role as co-founder and principal of Custom Benefit Programs (CBP). In 1994, Greg was instrumental in developing the myUnivers™ proprietary software platform, which is now the industry's leading independent enrollment system. Under Greg's leadership, Univers is the national leader in core benefit communications and enrollment services.

Greg's professional achievements have resulted in numerous awards and recognitions. He has been named to the Benefits Marketing Association's Hall of Fame and received the prestigious Pinnacle Award. Greg was featured on Benefits Selling magazine's 2008 Power List and has recently written a series of articles for Employee Benefit News. He frequently speaks as an industry expert to the media and other audiences.

Greg is a graduate of West Chester University, with a bachelor's degree in marketing.

J. Harold Chandler
Chief Operating Officer

As chief operating officer of Univers Workplace Benefits, J. Harold Chandler oversees our national service centers in California, Florida, Georgia and New Jersey. Harold works closely with the chief executive officer to coordinate all merger and acquisition activity, including geographic expansion and organic growth strategies.

Harold has 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. From 1972 through 1993 he was employed by The Bank of America and rose to the rank of president of the Mid-Atlantic Banking Group. From 1993 to 2003, Harold was chairman, president and CEO of UnumProvident Corporation. He then co-founded Benefit Partners of America (BPA), a firm specializing in traditional benefit enrollments. BPA was acquired by Univers and in 2004, Harold assumed the duties of COO.

Harold is a graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics. He completed his MBA from the University of South Carolina and later completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Currently, Harold serves on the boards of directors for both Milliken and Company and Wofford College.

John "Jack" Hamerski
Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer for Univers Workplace Solutions, Jack Hamerski is responsible for the company's financial operations and capital management. He also partners with the executive management team in implementing the company's strategic roadmap.

Jack has decades of experience in corporate finance and management, including such roles as chief financial officer, chief operating officer and executive vice president. Immediately prior to joining Univers in 2010, Jack held the position of corporate controller at national insurance brokerage Hilb Rogal & Hobbs, helping to prepare the company for its sale to international brokerage Willis and working through integration of the merged entities. He began his career and had a 20 year tenure at The General Electric Company, working for a number of the company's consumer and industrial divisions.

Jack holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Alliance College in Pennsylvania.

Louis J. Pantalone
Executive Vice President

Lou Pantalone is responsible for developing and managing strategic carrier relationships as executive vice president of Univers Workplace Solutions. Lou's hands-on experience and extensive product knowledge have prepared him well for this role.

With more than 20 years of experience in the enrollment industry, Lou has worked, managed and coordinated every phase of the enrollment process. He was a co-founder and principal of Custom Benefit Programs (CBP), which evolved into Univers Workplace Benefits in 2006, and was also instrumental in the development of our proprietary myUnivers™ suite of software.

In this role, Lou also works in conjunction with our chief operating officer, overseeing the National Market Services division located in New Jersey, the Middle and Emerging Market Services division located in Florida and the West Coast operations in California.

Kathleen Caccese
Chief Human Resources Officer

As chief human resources Officer of Univers Workplace Solutions, Kathy Caccese provides leadership and direction for HR services. She is responsible for key strategic business initiatives such as recruiting, benefit specialist and staff development, and delivering on our service guarantee.

Before joining Univers in 2005, Kathy was an HR business partner with Automatic Data Processing (ADP) in the Brokerage Services division.

Kathy holds a bachelors degree in management/communications from LaSalle University and a master's degree in human resources management from Widener University.

Sean Lacey
Chief Technology Officer

In his role as chief technology officer for Univers Workplace Solutions, Sean is responsible for research and development, telephony and IT infrastructure of Univers and each of its operating units.

He started with the organization in 1994 in a consulting role before coming on board permanently in 1997. He has been instrumental in the development of our proprietary myUnivers™ suite of software.

Sean is a graduate of DeKalb College in Atlanta, Georgia, with an AS degree in computer science.

Dani McCauley
Senior Vice President of Marketing

Dani McCauley is the senior vice president of marketing for Univers Workplace Solutions. In her role, she is responsible for developing the brand identity, corporate positioning, and targeted customer messaging for the organization.

With 18 years of insurance related marketing experience, she has successfully launched the branding of a multi-million dollar employee benefits software company and helped grow a mid-size startup benefit communications company to nationwide prominence. She has worked as a communications consultant, helping her clients build dynamic employee campaigns focused on elevating benefit knowledge and improving employee satisfaction.

Dani is a graduate of Pepperdine University with a bachelor of science in marketing management.

Lewis "Chip" Balser
Vice President and Managing Director, Western Region

Chip Balser is a vice president at Univers Workplace Solutions and the western region managing director. In this role, he oversees all of the company's service and marketing programs for the Western United States.

Chip has more than 16 years of experience in the employee benefits enrollment, education and communications marketplace. In 1995, Chip began his career with Paul Revere Insurance Company as a sales consultant, expanding his role with the company through mergers with Provident and Unum Corporation. Chip joined Univers when the company acquired Benefits at Work, Inc., the enrollment and communications firm he founded in 2002.

Chip graduated from Bates College in Maine with a bachelor's degree in political science.

Christopher E. Champa
Vice President and Managing Director, Northern Region

Chris Champa is a vice president at Univers Workplace Solutions and the northern region managing director. In this role, he oversees all service and marketing programs in the Northeast and Midwest United States.

Prior to joining Univers, Chris served as vice president of sales at Cincinnati-based Great American Life Insurance Company and has held several other management roles at leading health care companies. Chris joined Univers in 1999, when the company was still known as Custom Benefits Programs (CBP), playing a key role in the company's rapid growth. Chris ascended to the role of chief marketing officer in 2004 and later managed Univers's national operations infrastructure before assuming his current role.

K. Bradford Wier
Vice President and Managing Director, Southern Region

Brad Wier is a vice president at Univers Workplace Solutions and the southern region managing director. In this role, he oversees all service and marketing programs in the Southern United States.

Brad started his career at Unum in 1983 as an enrollment specialist and rose through the ranks to the position of national practice leader for workplace benefits. In 2003, Brad acquired an interest in Benefit Partners of America (BPA) of Nashville, Tennessee, a benefit communications and enrollment firm specializing in traditional enrollments. BPA was acquired by Univers in late 2004.

Brad is a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a degree in international marketing.
